Steve Matuszak was bitten by the “Mail Order” bug when he was a kid growing up in rural northwestern Pennsylvania.
The succeeding 64 years carried him through diverse activities including top level corporate positions and businesses of his own.
His first love has always been publishing and selling information products. Over the years he has amassed a very large collection of books, manuals, courses, audios and videos produced by the marketing masters of the 20th century.
Now in his golden years Steve wants to find a good home for each of these original items in his collection. Hence these auctions.
This blog will announce the auctions and also give Steve the opportunity to share his view of the past 65 years of direct marketing history, including the advent of the Internet.
He is uniquely qualified to do this. He even was at the first seminar Dan Kennedy ever held for information marketers — the one where Jeff Paul was on the hotseat while Dan outlined a plan for Jeff to amass a fortune. That’s the plan Jeff used to build his multi-million dollar empire. (Steve has a lot of stuff of Dan’s and even Jeff’s early products for financial planners, which will probably go up for auction here too).
